How Our Workshops Work

“I was beyond eager to connect to other people, other like minded folks, industry professionals, engineers, vendors who are in the business of creating products that enhance efficiency.”

Darryl Logan, Keller Logistics Group

Throughout the year we host workshops where we bring together fleets, dealers, truck makers, industry suppliers, government agencies, associations and others to learn and share ideas on best practices for improving the efficiency of trucks on the road today.

These full- or half-day seminars include a guest speaker or other allied industry activity and a panel discussion and Q&A with fleets leaders and suppliers usually moderated by a member of the trucking media. This is followed by roundtable discussions dedicated to specific technologies such as 6×2 axles, automated transmissions, lightweighting, idle reduction, aerodynamics, tire pressure systems, low rolling resistance tires and other efficiency technologies.

Participants have shared that they very much appreciate the safe environment these discussions provide to speak candidly about the technologies.

Here is the agenda for a typical full-day workshop:

1. Registration & Networking
2. NACFE Introduction
3. Guest Speaker or other allied relevant activity
4. Panel Discussion + Q&A
5. Networking lunch
6. Technologies Overview
7. Roundtable Topic Discussions
8. Wrap-up and Networking

To see where our next workshops are planned, please reference the EVENTS section of this website.  Events open to the public will also be posted to our LinkedIn and Facebook groups.

Please contact NACFE if your state trucking association, dealership open house, or fleet advisory panel could benefit from this type of event.  We can work together to bring it to your home town.
